It is our great pleasure to introduce our "Roots Discovery Tour" for persons affiliated with Korea. These tour programs are specially designed for children and young adults of Korean heritage to visit their homeland with their adoptive families.
Many Korean born children and their overseas adoptive families have a long cherished aspiration to visit Korea. Their parents want to make this dream a reality, and are highly committed to helping them integrate their unique dual identity.
The goal of experiencing first hand the history and culture of Korea is of vital importance to many Korean adoptees. Those who have returned to visit Korea have had the opportunity to satisfy their curiosity and alleviate their anxieties about their overseas adoption, their birth families and their cultural roots.
This experience can be particularly valuable in the company of others who can fully share and understand their emotions and unique concerns. Those participants interested in reuniting with Korean birth family members may be assisted with such an effort when and if possible.
The "Roots Discovery Tour" will offer a range of travel possibilities specifically designed with the needs of adopted children, adults and adoptive families in mind. Since our establishment in 1990, we have arranged Roots Discovery Tour for over 1,000 persons from Europe, the United States and other countries.
The "Post-Care Services" through the Roots Discovery Tour has been estimated to be very worthwhile and valuable experience in these adopted persons' lives and the number of participants have gradually increased over the years.
